Chris Henry….

Cincinnati Bengals co-star receiver Chris Henry, who has had troubles in the pass with the law, has passed away after suffering a fatal head injury. The police report states that Chris and his fiancée, Loleini Tonga, were having a domestic dispute. When Tonga tried to leave in her pickup truck, Chris apparently jumps into the pickup’s bed, continued arguing, while Loleini continued driving. Chris eventually fell out the bed and landed on his head causing his eventual death at 6.36 am This Thursday morning. This makes me think… Life’s too short! why can’t we just all get along and enjoy life, even with millions of dollars in the bank, some folks can’t find happiness, now I don’t know what the argument was about but that not the point here, I’m just loosed for words when avoidable incidents happen.

Chris Henri… Rest in Peace!

You hit like a girl…

Hockey Superstar Dion Phaneuf who is know to be one of the leagues most feared hitters has a little brother, Dane, that is trying to follow in his footsteps… The only problem with that is that Dane caused quite the stir in Edmonton last week when, while playing the Canadian National hockey’s WOMENS team in a non-contact exhibition game, crushed 31 year old veteran Hayley Wickenheiser in the boards. Something that Hayley took exceptions too, she was ready to drop the gloves against “Little Bro” all while trying to choke him out. On a serious note, I’m all for intensity but C’mon Little Bro you can’t hit a girl…

5 games?! Really though…

The NHL AGAIN disappoints me in their inconsistent ways of handle their business… We all have been seeing the vicious hits to the head that have been going on this year most of them going unpunished. It seems like the NHL hand picks players whom receive suspensions and those that don’t. Montreal Canadiens enforcer George Laraque Just receive a 5 game suspension and nearly $39 000 for… a knee to knee hit against Niklas Kronwall of the Detroit Red Wings the other night. Now I’m NOT saying the play was undeserving of a suspension but the NHL just handed him the biggest suspension of the year so far… While other players such as superstar Mike Richards don’t even get a 2 minute penalty for chopping down an opposing player it just seems unfair and useless. If the NHL wants to make an exemplary exhibition of a player they really SHOULD look at a superstar level player that commits a boo boo because only then will other players react…

That’s all I got to say…

in this video you see what George did (5 game suspension) and what another dude did (no suspension) you be the Judge…

C‘mon Lebron…

Last week, Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball star came out saying that The NFL’s Cleveland Browns team could use his help and that he could step in as a Tight End or Wide Receiver and be a star player for their franchise. Lebron… It’s not that easy and you’re making sooooooo much money as a Bballer, money that you would not even come close to making as a football player. I mean he has the physical attributes to be a football player but football is 50% physical and 50% mental if it were that easy any Joe Blow with his shape would be a star which is not the case… if I was a Cleveland Browner I’d be insulted and it looks like the were because for the first time this season, in a heart crushing loss to the Lions, the receiving squad of the Browns finally had their coming out party. Coach Mangini, who I think is a TERRIBLE coach, said that he would welcome Lebron anytime but Defensive all-star Shaun Rogers quickly stepped up and said that Lebron would not fair well as an NFL player. SMH head to you Lebron, start by winning an NBA championship before talking smack about an entirely different sports team…

 great commercial BTW…

Boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, On November 14th, straight up whooped Miguel Cotto’s buttocks… earning a 12th round TKO bringing is record to 51 win / 3 losses and 2 no contest.

Watch the whole fight…

Now the world wants to know… forget pound for pound, who is the best boxer alive??? Many would side with Pacquiao and I would with the outspoken Floyd Mayweather whose record is … really I don’t really care who would win but this would be an amazing fight to watch, the type of fight to bring boxing back to mainstream. The money involved would be uncanny don’t even mention the fight over who would have the biggest burse… In my opinion this fight may never happen but if it does, I have to give the slight edge to Floyd just because in reality who has ever given Floyd a real fight? May Manny, I am very interested to see.

This is what Floyd had to say…

***Sidebar: I mentioned a beef between Floyd Mayweather and rapper Rick Ross previously, Well this is Floyd’s comeback…

Rick Ross’ family was invited to watch the Pacquiao / Cotto fight at Mayweather’s house, which they happily accepted, here is a Picture of Floyd, rapper 50cent (who also has a long-time beef with Rick Ross), Rick Ross’ estranged son and Baby Moma.

 LOL and SMH

Are you For real…

The NFL just handed Cincinnati Bangals Star receiver, Chad Ocho Cinco (Formally Johnson) a $20 000 fine for trying to Bribe a referee with a $1 bill when they went to instant replay to se if Chad made a circus sideline catch or not. The Catch was called out of bounds and Chad probably knew that, being his entertaining self he quickly pulled out a dollar bill and showed it to the ref. Know does anybody really think for a second that the referee actually took it seriously?

I SMH to the NFL for taking all the fun out the game

Shannon Sharpe… Come on Brah!

Let the players show some personality and allow them to come up with fun celebrations as long as it stays within a respectful manner.

You’re going to tell me these were not good…

With the NBA season just started, there have already been many crazy nice plays that would make a highlight reel. Although in this case, the highlight may have P.E.T.A. thinking they would want to indict Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio spurs for his actions on Halloween night that saw bats come out to play…

It seems like people find this funny… what do you think?

This makes me think of another animal slaying during a game, although this time it was by accident. The odds…

What is this world coming too?

Really… What is this world coming too? I don’t know the circumstances of the event but is killing someone really necessary? On the October 18th, the night of Howard Jasper’s homecoming game with the University of Connecticut, a tragic story happened. After Receiving the game ball for his brilliant play in their victory, Howard went to a “welcome back” party on the school’s campus where ,a little after midnight, a fight broke out and he was stabbed. Tragically Howard was unable to survive the vicious attack and now leaves his family and teammates in mourning.

SMH to society…

My condolences to your family and loved ones…

Chapter 11 for the Chicago Cubs…

First, Chicago losses bid for 2016 Olympic Games and now they learned that one of their 2 baseball teams is filing for Chapter 11, protection against bankruptcy. To the naked eye some may think that this franchise is in difficulty but to the trained eye of Teddy Points ;) I see what’s really going on here… It’s kind of the same situation when George Gillett sold the 2nd most profitable Hockey franchise (Montreal Canadiens) earlier this year because he needed the liquidity of money to be able to avoid bankruptcy in his other businesses. But in this case, the bankruptcy of a healthy Chicago Cubs franchise that has drew over 3 million spectators to 95-year-old Wrigley Field in each of the past five seasons, is merely a legal manoeuvre to avoid the team from any future liability in the Tribune bankruptcy. Yes, you heard right, the owners of the Cubs, Tribune Co., have filed for bankruptcy on their company back in December of 08. Tribune Co. was smart enough to file for Chapter 11 on the Cubs making them a separate entity because the Creditors were looking to put up the franchise as collateral while seeking the 13 BILLION dollar dept Tribune has. The Cubs net worth has been estimated at around 900 MILLI not quite enough so pay everyone back but by separating the two, Tribune Co. may be able to keep some of that Moula in their pockets.

How bout them apples!!

*side bar: there might be a buyer… Incapital LLC Chairman Tom Ricketts, just might put Up the 900 Milli Tribune Co. is asking for, that’s one hell of a bargain price from the 20 Milli Tribune paid the Wrigley family back in 1980…

If it wasn’t for all the bankruptcies, I would have said that Tribune Co. really knows how to stretch a dollar!

Rush Limbaugh wants to buy NFL team…

Okay… I really want to take my time with this one; I can’t give you my first impressions on this subject because it would not be on a calm state of mind. I’m not a politician nor do I want to be but I can’t even began to think what would happen if this borderline racist, small minded, Condescending, inappropriately / offensively speaking guy would own a NFL franchise.

Really though… Rush are you serious? Well at least many existing NFL owners have publicly came out and said they would not co-sign for Mr racist Limbaugh to own a sport franchise.

Please leave your comments; I will come back on this one.
